In this post we shall talk about whether you should buy the Nikon 200mm f4. This lens is mainly aimed at professional photographers who are interested in macro shoots and portraits. If you are a wildlife photographer or a news photographer then this lens is not really suited for your needs. The build quality and the optical quality of the lens is quite good. However, you cannot use it as an all purpose general lens and therefore it is not really meant for beginners who want a vacation lens for their digital SLR camera. You can buy this lens provided you can find some good deals for it as it is slightly on the expensive side. You can click on the link in this post to know more about the lens as well as to avail of exclusive deals. You can buy this lens online from the various stores such as Amazon and Adorama.
I recently purchased a Nikon 20mm ultra wide angle lens and thought I would write up a quick review about it. All I can say is wow! This is not exactly the most modern of lenses, having been first released in 1989, but its definitely one of the best I have ever used. The autofocus function is so fast its practically instantaneous and it is amazingly accurate. I’ve used a couple of the more modern lenses and I always find that they end up focussing on something completely irrelevant in the foreground, but no such issue with the Nikon 20mm! On top of that, the Nikon 20mm is also one of the smallest and lightest lenses available from Nikon, which is definitely a bonus if, like me, you tend to go trudging round the countryside for hours on end taking photographs of the landscapes. I’d so pleased I got one of these lenses and definitely recommend them!
