I recently purchased a Nikon 20mm ultra wide angle lens and thought I would write up a quick review about it. All I can say is wow! This is not exactly the most modern of lenses, having been first released in 1989, but its definitely one of the best I have ever used. The autofocus function is so fast its practically instantaneous and it is amazingly accurate. I’ve used a couple of the more modern lenses and I always find that they end up focussing on something completely irrelevant in the foreground, but no such issue with the Nikon 20mm!
